Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Thunderstorm are periodically pulsing along a weak surface disturbance 750 miles southeast of Hilo. The disturbance is moving to the west at 17 mph into an area where hostile winds aloft will be developing over the next couple of days. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Otherwise, elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday afternoon.
