For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Disorganized showers and isolated thunderstorms associated with a north to south oriented surface trough were centered about 570 miles south southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. Strong upper level winds will likely continue to hinder any significant development of this system as it moves westward at about 10 mph during the next couple of days. There is a low chance, 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday morning.
