Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. An area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms is located about 550 miles south southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Atmospheric conditions do not appear conducive for any significant development as this area of disturbed weather moves slowly westward during the next couple of days. There is a low chance, 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday morning.
