For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A disturbance located about 1750 miles southwest of Honolulu is moving west near 15 mph, and is poised to move west of the Central Pacific Hurricane Center area of responsibility in the next couple of hours. Isolated thunderstorms continue to develop in association with the small low-level circulation associated with this disturbance. Further development, if any, will be slow to occur. There is a low chance, 20 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday morning.
