For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with a weak east to west oriented surface trough are located less than 700 miles south southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. The coverage of thunderstorms has decreased tonight. Environmental conditions are not conducive for any significant development of this area as it moves slowly westward during the next couple of days. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Monday night.
