Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. An area of thunderstorms located 700 miles southeast of Hilo has become more active during the past several hours. Continued development, if any, will be slow to occur. There is a low chance, 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

2. An area of thunderstorms 750 miles southwest of Hilo remains disorganized. Conditions are not conducive for this disturbance to develop. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday morning.
