For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A weak low level cloud circulation about 975 miles southeast of Hilo is moving west near 10 miles an hour. Isolated thunderstorms around this system are very sparse and remain disorganized. Upper level winds will hinder development of this system as it moves further westward over the next several days. However, there is a low chance, 20 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday evening.
