For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A low level circulation about 880 miles southeast of Hilo Hawaii is moving west slowly. A narrow band of thunderstorms extends from just east of the circulation center to 10°N 141°W, but this circulation remains too weak to classify. There is a low chance, 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through early Friday morning.
